Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-16
The deal
By using DocQuery you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable; ambiguous bits get the common-sense reading.
Accounts
You provide an email and a password. You're responsible for your account and the actions taken with it. Don't share credentials. If your account is compromised, email [email protected].
Your data, your rights
You own everything you upload. We host it and process it so the product works. You can export and delete it at any time. We don't claim a license to use it beyond running the service for you.
Acceptable use
- Don't upload content you don't have the right to.
- Don't process other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
- Don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Don't use DocQuery for illegal activity.
We may suspend accounts that violate this — usually we'll reach out first.
Billing
Paid plans renew monthly. You can change or cancel from the in-app Billing page. Refunds are at our discretion; reach out and we'll be reasonable.
Availability & warranty
We work hard to keep DocQuery up and accurate. AI extraction can be wrong; review extracted data before using it for anything material. The service is provided "as is" with no warranty.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DocQuery's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes
If we materially change these terms we'll notify you via email or the in-app banner. Continued use means you accept the new terms.
