Summary
We collect the minimum data needed to run DocQuery. We don't sell your data. You can export and delete it at any time. The details below explain what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to reach us.
What we collect
- Account information: email address, hashed password, session tokens.
- Workspace contents: the documents you upload and the tables, columns, rows, and relations derived from them.
- Usage data: standard request logs (IP, user agent, request path, status code) kept for 30 days.
- Billing information: we use Stripe; we never store your card number. We do store your Stripe customer + subscription IDs and plan status.
How we use it
- To run the product (extraction, APIs, AI chat).
- To bill you, via Stripe.
- To investigate abuse and keep the service available.
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use document content to train shared AI models.
Document extraction & AI
Extraction sends your document content to xAI's LLM API. xAI processes the content to return structured data and does not retain inputs for training (per xAI's API terms). The same applies to the AI chat feature.
Subprocessors
- xAI: document extraction + chat.
- Stripe: payments + customer portal.
- Cloudflare: DNS, tunnel, edge caching.
Your rights
You can export, edit, or delete your data at any time from the app. To request full account deletion, email [email protected]; we process requests within 30 days.
